College Football Rivalry Week ATS Analysis

It’s Rivalry Week in College Football and here are the top games of the week that I am betting on.

College Football Rivalry Week ATS Analysis

Ohio -28 at Akron

Akron is 0-11 SU. The Zips are 1-10 ATS. Ohio is 3-8 ATS but they should cover the spread versus the worst team in college football.

Iowa -3 at Nebraska

Iowa and Nebraska first met in 1891. This season, the two teams have gone in opposite directions. Iowa is good. Nebraska isn’t. The Hawkeyes should laugh at the 3-point spread with at least a 7-point win.

Cincinnati at Memphis -12

Both these teams have dominated the AAC. Cincinnati gets a ton of points here. Memphis is 5-3 ATS. The Tigers are 4-1 ATS at home. Don’t let the spread intimidate you. Back Memphis.

West Virginia at TCU -12 ½

TCU should have no trouble beating West Virginia. The Horned Frogs won’t cover, though. The Mountaineers are 2-1-1 ATS in their last 3. They lost to Kansas State by 4 on Nov. 16. Oklahoma State beat them by 7 in a push on Nov. 23. WVU can surprise on the moneyline. Stay safe and take the points.

Ohio State -9 at Michigan

Welcome to the game simply known as The Game. College football fans know that it’s the biggest rivalry in NCAAF, though. This season, Ohio State has played like the best team in the nation. But, chinks showed up in the armor versus Penn State while Michigan is 7-1 ATS in their last 8. The Wolverines cover.

Northwestern at Illinois -8 ½

Illinois should beat Northwestern by close to 20. The Illini are the surprise team in the Big Ten with a 6-5 SU record. Illinois’ ATS record is 8-3. This one won’t be close.

Alabama -3 at Auburn

The Iron Bowl takes place on Saturday. Like always, a lot is at stake for both Alabama and Auburn. Bama could take a small step closer to the College Football Playoff. A New Year’s Day Six bowl game berth is on the line for Auburn. Who wins and covers? Bama because they’re better than Auburn.

Notre Dame -14 ½ at Stanford

Since 1925, Notre Dame and Stanford have thrown down on the gridiron. This season, Stanford has no shot against the Irish. The Cardinal are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 versus bad teams. Notre Dame is 3-0 SU and ATS in their last 3.
